MEET THE ICONIC – MR. CHUBBY’S WING WHEEL: 155-FEET OF FUN COMING TO THE WESTSiiiDE!

Thanks to our larger-than-life sponsor, Mr. Chubby’s Wings, Jacksonville’s newest Fair icon has a name almost as big as the ride itself: Mr. Chubby’s Wing Wheel! And while Mr. Chubby may sound delightfully round, this spectacular Ferris wheel is going straight up —155 feet, to be exact.

For generations, the Ferris wheel has meant first dates, family traditions, kids seeing the Midway from above and that unmistakable circle of lights glowing over the Fairgrounds after dark. In 2026, Jacksonville gets to experience it all on an entirely new scale:

One important Fairground footnote before everyone lines up to take Mr. Chubby for a spin: Mr. Chubby’s Wing Wheel is a separately ticketed attraction and is not included with General Admission or the Mega Pass. Yes, even the legendary Mega Pass has to tip its hat to a 155-foot wheel covered in half a million lights. Consider it a little extra splurge for one very big ride.
