HEART-SHAPED BOX:
NIRVANA TRIBUTE

Heart SHaped Box SQUARE

Heart Shaped Box has spent more than 15 years bringing the raw sound and unmistakable energy of Nirvana back to the stage. Formed in 2009 by guitarist and vocalist Adam Latiff, the band has built a reputation for faithfully recreating the music and intensity that made Nirvana one of the most influential rock bands of the 1990s.

Featuring seasoned musicians Adam Latiff on guitar and vocals, Mark McHone on bass and Will Johnson on drums, Heart Shaped Box tears through Nirvana favorites including “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Come As You Are,” “Lithium,” “In Bloom,” “Drain You,” “Aneurysm” and, naturally, “Heart-Shaped Box,” along with deeper cuts for the die-hard fans.

With Latiff, a former touring guitarist and vocalist for Puddle of Mudd leading the charge, Heart Shaped Box doesn’t simply revisit the songs; they recreate the loud, distorted and beautifully imperfect spirit of Nirvana live. For anyone who remembers when Nevermind changed rock music — or wishes they’d been there the first time around — come as you are.

ORDINARY BOYS:
A TRIBUTE TO THE SMITHS

Formed in Miami in 2010, Ordinary Boys have established themselves as one of the premier tributes to the music of The Smiths and Morrissey, painstakingly recreating the unmistakable sound of their Manchester heroes. What began as a one-off performance at Miami’s legendary Churchill’s Pub quickly grew into something much bigger, earning a devoted following and taking the band to stages throughout Florida and beyond.

Led by vocalist AJ Navarrete, Ordinary Boys deliver the melancholy, wit, jangle and drama of The Smiths and Morrissey’s catalog with remarkable attention to the original recordings. Their live sets span beloved classics including “This Charming Man,” “How Soon Is Now?,” “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out,” “Panic,” “Ask,” “Bigmouth Strikes Again,” “The Queen Is Dead” and Morrissey favorites including “Suedehead.”

Even the band’s name comes with proper Moz credentials: Ordinary Boys takes its name from “The Ordinary Boys,” a song from Morrissey’s 1988 debut solo album, Viva Hate. For longtime devotees and anyone discovering this extraordinary catalog for the first time, Ordinary Boys bring the sound and spirit of The Smiths and Morrissey back to the stage — gladioli optional.

A FOREIGNER'S
JOURNEY TO BOSTON

Three legendary bands. One massive catalog of classic-rock anthems. A Foreigner’s Journey to Boston brings the music of Foreigner, Journey and Boston together for a powerhouse live celebration of the songs that helped define arena rock.

Fronted by Brandon Miller, a former touring guitarist with the Artimus Pyle Band, the group features an accomplished lineup of touring musicians including Kimberley Dahme of Boston on rhythm guitar, 12-string, keys and vocals. Together, they recreate the soaring vocals, huge harmonies and instantly recognizable guitar and keyboard-driven sound behind three of rock’s most enduring catalogs.

Expect a set packed with songs practically engineered for singing at the top of your lungs, including Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Foreigner’s “Feels Like the First Time” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” and Boston’s “More Than a Feeling,” alongside plenty more from all three bands.

For anyone who grew up when rock songs came with enormous choruses, bigger guitars and absolutely no fear of a power ballad, A Foreigner’s Journey to Boston delivers three bands’ worth of classics in one show. Consider this your chance to take a Journey through Boston with a few Foreigners along for the ride.
