STEM Challenge Competition

2024 STEM Challenge Rules:

•The STEM Challenge takes place on Monday 11/11 inside the EXPO Hall “A” during the Jacksonville Fair

•There will be 3 Divisions: ages 7-10; 11-13 and 14-17 years old

•Teams must consist of 2 players (single registrants will be combined)

•Teams must be pre-registered on www.JacksonvilleFair.com/STEM

•The 7-10 division must arrive at the EXPO Hall “A” to check-in no later than 1:00p for a 1:15p start

•The 11-13 Division must arrive at the EXPO Hall “A” to check-in no later than 2:45pm for a 3:00p start

•The 14-17 Division must arrive at the EXPO Hall “A” to check-in no later than 4:30pm for a 4:45p start

•Teams will not know what the challenges are until they arrive at the event

•Teams will be supplied with all materials and tools needed at the challenge

•Some teams will be eliminated after each challenge and some teams will continue on to the next rounds.

•The top 3 teams at the end of all challenges (in all divisions) will be declared the winners

•1st place wins $500

•2nd place wins $400

•3rd place wins $250

•Checks will be mailed to the winners

Although registration for the STEM Challenge is FREE, you'll still need to pay regular gate admission to the Jacksonville Fair on Monday, 11/11/24. On this day (Veterans Day) everyone with a valid Military ID (+3 family members) can get in FREE. All others must pay standard admission: $15 Adults (13+), $6 for kids ages 6-12, $6 for Seniors (65+), and Kids 5 and under are always FREE.
